"Samba DuBois" was the first tune I recorded when I returned to the states in 1974. It was recorded for Joe Fields Muse label, "Musique DuBois." I started calling myself DuBois when I lived in France as a sort of joke. When my Dad died in 1987 we found his birth certificate and, lo and behold, he was born Stanley Joseph DuBois! C'est vrai! Sans blague!!
