Simone sang with the Bud Powell trio at the Paris Bluenote jazz club for seven years before settling down with Jean-Louis and raising a family. She later became George Wein's aide de camp and booked all of the major world's festivals but the ERM was her first client. Jean-Louis resides in the states and remains chief editor for the Fillapacchi Publishing house.
