This tune was composed and recorded in 1971 during my European sojourn. After not recording very much jazz before I left, all of a sudden I was an active be-bopper again. Festivals and a couple of albums in France (Alive & Well) and "Round Trip" for Johnny Pate, bass player and A&R man out of Chicago for MGM. He also bought the Montreux album. I went back to France with more money than I had ever seen! Thank you old friend. Johnny is alive and well and living in Las Vegas.
